Osmaniye Municipality and TEMA Foundation signed an important cooperation protocol in order to protect nature and increase awareness of environment in Osmaniye province. Within the scope of this protocol, it is aimed to increase the awareness of environment in the society developing joint projects.
Signed by Osmaniye Mayor Mr. İbrahim Çenet, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Foundation Ms. Deniz Ataç and TEMA Foundation Deputy General Manager Ms. Didem Bilgin, the cooperation protocol aims to protect all natural assets, especially soil, in Osmaniye, raise awareness about combating erosion and expand the work of the TEMA Foundation.
Awareness will be increased through Nature Education
Within the scope of the protocol, the TEMA Foundation will organize educational events in Osmaniye, especially in schools, to increase awareness of environment and nature. With the support of the municipality, the Foundation will carry out promotional and information activities in areas that may attract the attention of the public. In addition, environmental cleaning activities will be carried out in places such as recreation areas, and the awareness of the local people about protecting nature will be raised.
Support from Osmaniye Municipality for 10 years
Osmaniye Municipality has allocated an education and activity area to TEMA Foundation for 10 years as part of the cooperation protocol. In addition, the necessary areas and transportation support will be provided for the events to be held by TEMA Foundation. The Municipality will also support events to be organized to draw attention to environmental disasters.
All activities to be carried out in Osmaniye will be carried out through TEMA Foundation Osmaniye Provincial Representative Nail Dayanç, Osmaniye District Officers Duygucan Dertli and Mehmet Karip and Osmaniye Genç TEMA President Rabia Demircan and will continue to meet with volunteers at TEMA House.
