Scope/Goals

Implemented in 2019 and 2020, the project included educational activities for children at primary, middle and high school levels, as well as awareness-raising activities designed for youth and adults. The activities aimed to raise awareness on climate change among children, youth and adults.

Educational Activities

The project, which was prepared for children at primary, middle and high school levels, was developed to raise children's awareness on issues such as seasons, climate, causes and consequences of climate change, how the climate is affected by human activities and solutions that can be applied in daily life, according to the characteristics of the age groups. In-class activities were supported with educational materials such as posters, presentations, worksheets, movies, e-magazines.

Awareness - Raising Activities

Within the scope of the project's awareness-raising activities, a presentation on climate change, documentary screenings and subsequent climate talks were organized for young people and adults. With these activities, it was aimed for young people and adults to learn about climate change,  gain awareness on sustainable living,  comprehend the cause-effect relationship on climate change, and  think about what they can do to protect the climate.

What Did We Do Within the Scope of the Project?

In 2019 and 2020, we reached approximately 3,600 young people and adults through presentations on climate change , documentary screenings and subsequent climate talks in 30 provinces. We reached a total of 13,200 children at primary, middle and high school levels with the educational activities that started in the second year of the project.
