After graduating from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Mr. Mahmut MAGEMİZOĞLU completed his master's degree in Investment Analysis at the University of Stirling in England.
He started his career at Türkiye İş Bankası as an Assistant Inspector in 1982 and held various managerial positions between 1992-1999. He served as the Director of the Subsidiaries Department between 1999-2005, as Deputy General Manager of Türkiye İş Bankası between 2005-2016, as the 1st Assistant General Manager between 2016-2018 and retired at the end of September 2018.
He has served as a member and chairperson of the board in more than 20 companies operating in many industrial, commercial and financial fields such as finance, insurance, glass. Between 2018 and 2020, he served as the Chief Advisor to the General Manager of İşbank. In 2020, he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. and served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Audit Committee until 2022.
