Turkey, founded the 'Climate Network' to express their common concerns
and solutions about climate
The Network aims at conducting joint activities in order to stop
human induced climate change before reaching the point of no return.
The Network was established with the contribution of Buğday Association,
The Nature Assosiation ,
Nature Conservation Center, Eurosolar Turkey, Greenpeace Mediterrean,
of Kadıköylü Science, Culture and Art Association (KADOS), Turkish

Habitats (TEMA), WWF Turkey and 350 Ankara.
Today, the continuity of human induced climate change have been
threatening the continuity of the ecosystems around the world and developing human
life conditions on planet. Besides the Glacial Melting in Greenland and North
Pole, drought around the world, increased food prices, forest fires, deaths
caused by monsoon rains, the growing epidemic diseases, extreme heat and floods
in Turkey, the more frequent and severe extreme weather events, proves the
impacts of climate change.
Climate Network came together to bring common
climate change and solutions to the forefront of national and
agenda. They also advocate for equality and justice among people and
societies while protecting the World's ecosystems and ensure to work
under the guiding principles of science.
Climate Network, will announce its suggestions for
solution and carry their lobbying activities during UNFCCC Conference of
the Parties that will take place between 26 November and 7 December
2012 in Qatar.
